Our Mission
Aging in Place Funding exists to make it easier for older adults and their families to find, understand, and access funding for aging-in-place home modifications. We believe everyone deserves to live safely and independently in their own home, and money shouldn't be the barrier.
What We Do
We research and organize information about government grants, loans, waivers, and other funding programs — at the federal, state, and local level — that can help pay for home modifications like bathroom renovations, stairlifts, wheelchair ramps, and accessibility improvements.
We also maintain a directory of contractors who specialize in aging-in-place modifications, with Google-verified ratings and monthly accuracy checks.
Editorial Process
Every funding program on this site is researched from official government sources. We link directly to program websites and application pages. We review our data regularly and display "last reviewed" dates on each guide so you know how current the information is.
